About the role

Electra seeks an inspirational and experienced leader of the electricity network business. This role will have the responsibility for setting and overseeing an annual capital investment of circa $10m. This pivotal leadership role will be a key driving force in future-proofing our business in a time of significant change and emerging disruptive technologies.

As a member of our Senior Leadership team, reporting to the CE, our General Manager Lines Business plays a fundamental role in the setting and achievement of our business strategy and is responsible for ensuring that our business meets its compliance, legislative, budget and Health and Safety requirements.

This position will provide strong effective leadership and management to our Planning and Development, Customer and Products, and Service Delivery Teams to deliver operational excellence. A key focus of the role is overseeing the preparation and delivery of the Asset Management Plan and the achievement of the annual work plan and strategic objectives.

About you

You will be an inspirational leader, a strong communicator and have a genuine passion for building and maintaining high performing teams. A collaborative approach with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes is a vital requirement for you to be successful in this position.

You will possess a tertiary level electrical engineering qualification with extensive experience within our industry, at least ten years, at a senior management level.
